Rev Jane Bailey

Although Jane grew up in London, she has lived in Anglesey for all her adult life, bringing up her family here.  After her children ‘flew the nest’, Jane decided to pursue her long neglected academic studies, graduating in History at Bangor University in 1999, and in Theology in 2003, shortly after her Ordination.

Jane has had a long connection with Holy Island, serving her curacy in the Rectorial Benefice of Holyhead, prior to becoming Rector of Trefdraeth, Aberffraw, Llangadwaladr and Cerrig Ceinwen from 2006 – 2010. She then accepted an invitation to serve in Holyhead once again, and was ‘priest in charge’ of the parish during the Vacancy from Jan 2012 until February 2014.  Jane is pleased to be a member of the newly formed Bro Cybi Ministry Area Team.

Jane is very appreciative of the opportunities to make contact with so many local families through the Occasional Services, Civic events, schools work and interaction with community projects. She is keen to promote ecumenical links in the area, and to develop the Ministry of Welcome to visitors to our churches and our Holy Island.

Jane can be contacted on 01407 764780 or by her e.mail: jane.r.bailey@btinternet.com
